Luca's 4... and 4 again!

Finally old enough for Playmobil!  Hooray!

Two Birthdays are better than One!

Luca turned 4 this year.  

One party with friends and one party with family.  Lucky little bear. 

This year he got to have Finnian, Taehge, Katie, Leo and Violet over for cupcakes and play time.

Blowing out a "4" candle on a cupcake is harder than it looks! 

Take a big breath bear... there's 4 candles this year!

We are all singing Happy Birthday - apparently our singing wasn't that great!

Hibernation

I love this pic... it was taken pretty late at night, he had arranged his blankets and his stuffed animals just right, curled up into a ball and fallen asleep.

The Bear Goes Hunting

This morning Luca went hunting.  He grabbed his gun (thank you Grandpa) and found all the stuffed animals he could find.  As he shot them, he threw them in a pile in his room.

I got them all mama!

I know, it's on the edge of weird - maybe it is weird, but he is just so darn cute.  Pretty nice catch for 5 minutes of work.  Job well done.










I would like to note that we do not promote the random killing of stuffed animals.  Moments after taking this picture, Luca noticed that Bingo (the black and white dog) was also in the pile - he promptly removed him and hugged him and said "Oh no, he must have been so scared in there."  So darn adorable!

He couldn't have been more proud!
